Research Assistant: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill TEACCH Autism Program

This full-time research assistant position involves assisting Dr. Laura Klinger and Dr. Brianne Tomaszewski in research activities for a federally funded intervention research project at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill TEACCH Autism Program.  The research assistant will be involved in a study of a community-college based intervention (the TEACCH School Transition to Employment and Postsecondary Education, T-STEP) program for 16–21-year-olds with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the project coordinator with participant recruitment, conducting assessments around the state of North Carolina, and data collection and entry. Other research projects and related activities will include research examining quality of life (employment, health) outcomes for adults with autism.
